Student Book Trailer Competition

Jason Henderson, the author of the upcoming Young Captain Nemo (coming March 12, 2019 from Feiwel & Friends/ Macmillan Children's Books), is looking for a new trailer to promote the book online– and he wants YOU to make it!

What is Young Captain Nemo? Armed with his wits, his friends, and his Nemotech submarine, a twelve-year-old descendant of Jules Verne’s famous antihero is determined to help make the ocean a safer place one adventure at a time in Jason Henderson's Young Captain Nemo, first in a new middle-grade series.

We need a trailer to bring with us on school visits and public events, and to live on internet sites! And no one could make it better than readers.

 

FIRST PRIZE: A $50 gift card and your trailer becomes the OFFICIAL YOUNG CAPTAIN NEMO TRAILER featured on the Young Captain Nemo web pages and elsewhere

SECOND PRIZE: A $30 gift card, plus trailer to be featured on the Young Captain Nemo web pages and elsewhere

THIRD PRIZE: A $20 gift card, plus trailer to be featured on the Young Captain Nemo web pages and elsewhere

ELIGIBILITY: Students enrolled in middle or high school in the United States

Format: YouTube video of 30, 45 or 60 seconds

DEADLINE: December 15, 2018, winners to be announced by January 1, 2019 and notified by email.
